Air Quality Improvements

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School: WWEC installed Reme Halos in locker room rooftop units to help combat issues with MRSA and perspiration odors.

Michigan City: Carbon monoxide sensors were installed in each apartment and in the main office. WWEC provided staff and resident training on the proper usage of combustion equipment (gas stoves / ovens, gas hot water heaters, furnaces and thermostats).

Alternative Energy Sources

Dual Fuel Gas Generators: Automatic backup generators were installed at 6 assisted living communities. Systems were designed to provide sufficient power to keep air conditioning and vital equipment powered for at least 96 hours. WWEC also installed emergency back-up generator systems for the Diocese of St. Petersburg at 4 different locations.

Solar Power Back-up and Solar Hot Water Heaters: At St.Petersburg Catholic High School 2 solar hot water systems were installed.
